Bidding Information

Bidding for auction items will close as indicated on each item. There is no charge for making a bid. You will be notified by email within 24 hours of the close of the auction if you are a winning bidder. At that time you will be asked to make payment by credit card via our secure payment option on this website, or by check. We will also accept your credit card payment by telephone or fax if you prefer. Payment is due within 5 business days of bid closing.

How to Bid:

1. If this is your first time placing a bid, Register to Bid, and we will assign you a Bidder ID. You will receive your Bidder ID at the email address you specify.
    
2. Find an item that you'd like to bid on and decide on the amount that you want to bid.
    
3. Next, click on the "Bid" button located at the end of the description.
    
4. A successful bid must be at least $25.00 higher than the previous bid, or in increments of $25.
    
5. * NEW * You may now place a Maximum Bid! If this is the first bid on an item, you will win the bid at the Next Minimum Bid, but your Maximum Bid will be held in Reserve against future bids. If there is already a Current High Bidder for the item, you will win the bid if your Maximum Bid beats the Current High Bidder's Reserve. If your bid does not beat the Current High Bidder's Reserve, then you have placed a Losing Bid. A Losing Bid will cause the Current High Bid to increase to match the amount of any bid against it, untill the Current High Bidder's Reserve is exceeded by $25. 6. Fill in all the fields in the bidding form including your e-mail address and Bidder ID number. Click the submit button.
    
7. If you are outbid, we will email you to let you know. You may then get back in the game by returning to your item of choice and placing another bid.
    
8. If you have the highest bid at the end of the auction, at or above the minimum bid price, you are obligated to complete the transaction. Bids are not retractable.
    
9. Winning bidders will be notified by e-mail. Written verification and contact information for your winning bid(s) will follow by U. S. Mail.
    
10. International bids are welcome! Please note that all prices are quoted in USD. (U.S dollars). For a good currencies converter on-line, check the Oanda page at http://www.oanda.com/cgi-bin/ncc
     
11. If you believe you are one of the successful bidders but do not receive notification, please contact us at info@generousadventures.com.
